Give Your Teenagers A Little Freedom On Their Bike

Let your kids go wild this summer. Wild on their bikes, that is. With the best ebike for teenager, you can let them loose on any number of Cape Cod bike trails and know that they can ride safely. Try the Cape Cod Canal bike path. Running along both sides of the canal, this is a mostly flat trail that’s ideal for younger bikers. They will enjoy the boat traffic on the canal as well as the regular rest stops.

Another nice ride for teenagers is the Shining Sea Bikeway. This 10.7-mile paved path winds along the beach for amazing views even teenagers will love. Make sure you research good bikes for teenagers before letting them go. As always, their safety is paramount.

Take on More of a Challenge

If you’d like to test your biking mojo, you need to ride the Province Lands Bike Trail. This bike path is on the Cape Cod National Seashore and has its share of challenges. You will experience sharp curves, steep hills, and low tunnels. Depending upon the season, some parts of the trail may even be submerged. Caution is required for a safe and fun ride. After a day riding the 7.25-mile trail, you end at Race Point Beaches in Provincetown for a cooling dip in the ocean.

Cater to the Naturalist in You

Cape Cod has stunning diversity in its flora and fauna. It would be a shame to visit and not learn more about the ecology around you. Take a ride on the Nauset Marsh Trail. It begins at the Salt Pond Visitors Center where you can visit the museum, watch a movie or two about the area, and enjoy a Junior Ranger program with the kids. Then hop on the bike trail and see the old Coast Guard Station and lovely Atlantic Ocean views.

The Tip of the Iceberg

If the above trails aren’t enough to entice you, you can ride the Chatham Loop, the Head of the Meadow Trail, and so much more. Get excited about biking Cape Cod.
